President Obama lingers large over this fall’s debates, and yet six years into his term, some Democrats still can’t quite decide if they want to be associated with him. Colorado senatorial candidate Mark Udall was asked in Tuesday night’s debate his opinion of Obama’s job performance.

Udall asked his opinion of President Obama's job in office.

And?

Udall: what is your opinion of the job Obama has done? Doesn't answer. #copolitcs

Next Q is what Udall thinks of Obama's performance. Notably Udall doesnt give an evaluation. #cosen #copolitics

Then how does that explain the 99 percent voting record?

Asked to address voting 99% w/ Obama thing, Udall instead attacks Gardner on other issues. Dude, question! #cosen

Mark Udall's real answer: I stand with Obama 99% of the time in the Senate #cosen #copolitics

Mark Udall "When I agree w/ the president, I vote with the president." Well, he agrees w/ Obama 99% of the time. #COPolitics #cosen

Mark Udall can't seem to figure out Barack Obama's record IS his record. (That's what 99% means, sir). #COsen #COpolitics

Udall says he votes against Obama when he's on wrong track. So he's on the right track 99% of the time in his view? #OnlyGuyInCoWhoThinksIt

— Brad Todd (@BradOnMessage) October 8, 2014

@guycecil Udall is not a man of principle, and he's a liar who votes with Obama 99% of the time. He wouldn't even appear w/Obama when here

Udall says linking him to Obama is Gardner's way of distracting voters from Gardner's extreme record. #copolitics

— Joey Bunch (@joeybunch) October 8, 2014

I'm just worried Mark Udall didn't get the word "extreme" into the debate tonight. #cosen

— Rick Wilson (@TheRickWilson) October 8, 2014

Udall latest candidate tonight who can't get away from Obama comment that his policies are on the ballot. That's what October's about #CoSen

— Brad Todd (@BradOnMessage) October 8, 2014

Newsflash to Udall: It is not 2008. It is not 2012. Saying you want to move "forward" means nothing and ties you to Obama.

@JustinBarasky Udall seemed lost trying to run from Obama and his 99% Obama voting record #cosen

— Blake Gober (@Blakegober) October 8, 2014

Where’s that emergency escape hatch?

Udall just brought up birth control to distract his love for Obama. #BFFs #pals
