What She Unearthed One Day At The Beach Has Me Insanely Jealous. Seriously…Whoa.

, , , , , , ,

Show of hands. When you were a kid at the beach, raise’em up high if you loved digging in the sand and creating castles, moats, and ditches? Ya, we thought so 😉 Well we’re sorry to burst your perfect memory bubble, but there’s no doubt that the ultimate masterpiece of your childhood doesn’t compare to what British globetrotter Paul Hoggard and his Dutch wife Rem have created on beaches around the world. Don’t believe us? Read on to see for yourself if you don’t mind a little competition.

Paul and his wife, both in their 40’s, have competed professionally since 1991 and ’99 respectively.

Both travel around the world, using only wet sand (and in extreme cases wood supports), to create mind-blowing art you have to see to believe.

Due to the sheer size, these pieces can take several days to complete.

And the result is something that puts what we made as kids to the ultimate shame!

The range of creations includes, animals, cities, and uplifting “pieces.”

But despite their incredible range, they clearly have a special weakness for animals.

They say the most difficult by far were the elephant graveyards.

Though not all of their work is uplifting, they can all be incredibly moving.

Or sometimes just down right cool.

Simply amazing. Right?

(H/T: Daily Mail) With the incredible amount of time needed to create these amazing pieces, the least you could do in support is to share there amazing work using the button below. Right?
