Rut-roh. The White House is innovating again. This never ends well.

A group of Presidential Innovation Fellows has been recruited to take on five “game-changing projects.” Translation: the White House is sponsoring a new round of cringe-worthy, expensive meddling in the private sector.

WH "Innovation Fellows" flack says they're looking for "case studies" on "how we can save $ for taxpayers." AX THIS STUPID PROGRAM!

Office of Personnel Management director John Berry had some advice for the first class of Innovation Fellows.

Think bold, fail early, learn quickly. #innovategov @WHLive

— InnovationGeneration (@innovgen) August 23, 2012

Fail early — perhaps President Obama can recycle that motto for his campaign.

Obama's next slogan? RT @michellemalkin OPM director encourages "White House Innovation Fellows" to "fail early."

— jon gabriel (@exjon) August 23, 2012

Or maybe a slogan with more Chicago flair? “Fail early, fail often.”

The Innovation Fellows program comes complete with its very own composite woman, natch.

Next up on Innovation Fellows theater: Oh, no. It's a slideshow. With Composite Woman. Who needs help from govt. UGH. http://t.co/1I4K7VFV

The new Obama Composite Woman who will be rescued by WH "Innovation Fellows" is named "Alice." Not kidding. #juliaisjealous

— Michelle Malkin (@michellemalkin) August 23, 2012

Poor Alice. If she has to rely on Papa Government to rescue her, she never stood a chance. And it’s definitely “Papa” Government — as some Twitter users noted, the oh-so-feminist White House still seems to have a lady problem.

18 Presidential Innovation Fellows…2 women? Not impressed. http://t.co/AsELo4b9 #womenintech #innovategov

88% of the new Presidential Innovation Fellows are on Twitter: http://t.co/hFKJMWhb 11% (2 of 18) are women. #innovategov

When will the Republican War on Women end?

So what projects will the Innovation Fellows be targeting for early failure?

WH "Innovation Fellows" will work on 5 projects: 1) @ProjectMyGov-"rapid prototype of streamlined online system…to easily access info"…

— Michelle Malkin (@michellemalkin) August 23, 2012

2) @ProjectOpenData "make govt data more publicly accessible in 'computer-readable' form…as fuel for creation of new products"

— Michelle Malkin (@michellemalkin) August 23, 2012

3) @ProjectTwenty – "transition 'last mile' of internatl devlpt assistance payments from cash to electronic methods"

— Michelle Malkin (@michellemalkin) August 23, 2012

4) @ProjectRFPEZ "dvlp new process…that will make it vastly easier for govt & sm high-growth tech startups to do biz w/each other"

— Michelle Malkin (@michellemalkin) August 23, 2012

5) @ProjectBlueBtn "spread ability for millions of Americans to easily & securely download their own hlth info electronically"

— Michelle Malkin (@michellemalkin) August 23, 2012

Sounds like a plan. A superfluous, wasteful plan for yet another superfluous, wasteful government program.

Taxpayers lose! RT @sunisasn Hey, we're trending across the US! #innovategov wins!
