Too Many People Still Do This During The Summer And It HAS To Stop!

Picture this…after you take your pup to the dog park, you remember you have to run a quick errand.

Going home seems like such a hassle, so you bring them along. When you get to the store, knowing that it’s not too hot out, you just crack your windows and run inside.

That’s your first mistake.

Many people believe that that little amount of air circulation will be enough…but it’s not. The inside temperature of a car, even on a mild 70-degree day, can quickly climb well above 100.

Pets who are trapped inside can become disoriented, dehydrated, and can even experience organ failure.

While many states have passed laws that make it illegal to leave pets in hot cars, others still have no protections in place.

Cracking the windows might make you feel better, but it doesn’t do anything to ensure your pet stays cool.

Many people see helpless pets trapped in hot cars and don’t do anything about it. Others act — but too many people don’t understand just how dangerous leaving pets can really be.

Share this story so we can get the word out. We need to prevent this from happening to any other innocent pets.
