This Guy Roams The Streets Looking For Trash. What He Does With It Is Hilariously Brilliant.

Countless city streets are marred by piles of trash and litter, a visually unappealing scar on our society. Rubbish can be a depressing reminder of the state of the world… or just downright unpleasant. A Spanish artist by the name of Francisco de Pájaro is trying to change that, the only way he knows how. Francisco roams city streets, transforming piles of trash into something we could all appreciate: art. He adds arms and faces to bags, bins, cardboard boxes and more. His goal? “My intention is to seek the smile on people. I never stay to watch their reaction, I usually leave. But in general I think, or I want to think, I make them smile.”

Francisco is a sort of crusader, roaming the streets at night.

The art he creates is equal parts adorable and creepy.

The artist simply adds to the existing creations.

Usually, he doesn’t have to alter much to achieve his goal.

Just by adding bags…

Or maybe some extra tape and paint…

He creates some pretty awesome art.

People walking by might not mind the trash as much.

In fact, this is just kind of awesome.

His goal was to make people smile.

We think he accomplished that pretty well.

If you ever see one of these creates on the city streets…

Know who was behind it.

It’s by a traveling Spanish artist with an awesome sense of humor.

One man’s trash…

… is another man’s art.

We love it. If you do, too, share it!
