In today’s changing world of instant communications around the globe, we are becoming more aware than ever of the inter-connections of all mankind.  As we become more aware of this interconnected-ness, we can only hope that we will strive to work for the benefit of us all, not just those within the society or culture into which we were born.

It seems that war and separation are inevitable, as natural as the rising and setting of the sun, the exact polar opposite to peace.   Is there anything that we, as individuals, can do?  We think so.  Focusing on the positive and reaching out to the rest of the world with compassion, empathy and innovation we can all begin the critical work of uniting all the people of the earth with the hope that one day, we will realize that world hunger can be defeated and that all people can and will have a decent place to live with clean water and an environment free from pollution.  We are evolving as a species.  It is up to us, through dialog and recognition that we are all one in the eyes of the Creator, as to whether or not we will continue to thrive as a species or be just one more of the species that are doomed to disappear, along with the many others that disappear each day.
