Even though former New York congressman Anthony Weiner has admitted sending lewd photos of himself to female fans, some still believe late conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart and his staff made the entire story up.

From Buzz Feed:

A group of liberal bloggers believe that Anthony Weiner was blackmailed by Andrew Breitbart into a false confession, and are carrying out a lonely Twitter crusade to spread their theory — in spite of the fact that Weiner himself has never claimed this to be the case.

unresolved question: If, as leftwing blogger Cannon-fire says, these accounts are "astroturf" — who's paying the Weiner Truthers? And why?

The @OccupyRebellion account has also been tweeting about the issue.

Not that someone connected to a site named BreitbartUnmasked.com would have an agenda, but both @OccupyRebellion and BreitbartUnmasked.com were mentioned in the story by blogger Patterico about the harassment he received from convicted bomber Brett Kimberlin.

Unreported in this is the fact that these same loons are directly involved with #BrettKimberlin's band of harassers. http://t.co/YfOWQ1Zf
