Yep. While two billion Christians around the world celebrate Easter Sunday on this 31st day of March, Google is using its famous “Doodle” search logo art to mark the birth of left-wing labor leader Cesar Chavez.

For real:

Christians from all walks of life and political views expressed shock, dismay, and exasperation with Google’s diss:

Google is going with the Cesar Chavez doodle on Easter.Ok then.

Wondering why Cesar Chavez is on google instead of something easter related….

Annoyance of the day: It’s Easter and Google’s new graphic is celebrating Cesar Chavez’s 86th birthday.

If you go to google rite now you will not find an Easter egg or Jesus you will find Cesar Chavez #kingofkings? #ithinknot #nottalkingaboutJc

— Morgan Canty (@CantyMorgan) March 31, 2013

So it’s Easter, yet the google homepage is commemorating Cesar Chavez. A union socialist. Wow…

— Zac Sharpe(@Zacsharpe) March 31, 2013

Google thinks Cesar Chavez is more important than Easter. #whoareyou #happyeaster

— Olivia Liedtka (@LiedtkaOlivia) March 31, 2013

wait what on earth google is prioritizing cesar chavez’ birthday over easter interesting

— Frankie (@FrankTheTruTank) March 31, 2013

I’ve got nothing against Cesar Chavez, but even Chavez was a Catholic. I doubt he’d want Google to recognize him on Resurrection Day.

— Keith R. Kingsolver (@jksolver) March 31, 2013

Wow. Congrats Google, youve managed to alienate all Christians in America today: instead of celebrating Christ, they celebrate Cesar Chavez.

— Keith R. Kingsolver (@jksolver) March 31, 2013

Can I just say how disappointed I am that it is Easter Sunday but google chooses to celebrate Cesar Chavez’s 86th birthday instead.. #What?

Today’s Google Doodle honors César Chávez, who is shown wearing whiteresplendent clothes as befits one risen from the dead. Er, wait.

— Esteban Vázquez (@voxstefani) March 31, 2013
