Move over, conservative groups; there’s a new IRS target in town. Late-night darling Conan O’Brien says the IRS has set its sights on him.
What gives, IRS?
@conanobrien Shouldn’t have called the show Conan’s Constitutional Patriot Comedy Hour

@conanobrien just heard they’re now targeting #comedians in an attempt to lighten the situation.

@conanobrien @teamcoco New IRS ruling: anyone with a tv show that regularly uses political satire is subject to annual audits.

Fair points. But still.
So far, victims of the IRS scandals haven’t been successful in generating more than feigned, halfhearted outrage from the president. But since Conan and Obama share a love of comedy, maybe this is exactly what it will take to get the White House to take the scandals seriously.
And, well, if that doesn’t work:
@conanobrien open season on IRS. You are hereby obligated to squeeze every last shred of dignity out of IRS. Assuming they have any dignity.
