Vice President Biden sent out a super creepy spam mail today. Twitter users gave it a unanimous “awkward” and politely averted their eyes.
Email from Joe Biden, subject line: "Trust me — you'll have fun." #staythirstymyfriends

Worst spam ever: sent by Joe Biden, subject "trust me — you'll have fun"

Kind of creeped out by the subject line ("Trust me–you'll have fun") of Joe Biden's email, ngl.

I just got an email from Joe Biden with the subject "Trust me, you'll have fun." I'm scared.
— LogicalLibby (@LogicalLibby) July 24, 2012
Sheesh, Joe. What’s next? “I’ll respect you in the morning … Trust me!”
Then, later in the day, the White House embargoed a Joe Biden conference call. They didn’t allow reporters to report on or tweet about the call while it was in progress.
Coincidence? You decide.
@markknoller So Obama is more secretive about Biden gaffes than he is about national security?

Good little media sheeple obeyed the order, it seems.
That's a BFD! RT @edhenryTV: Embargo broken on VP Biden conference call so we can finally Tweet .. #PraisetheLord

Transparency!
MT @edhenryTV Aside about VP Biden's conf call w/REPORTERS about tax cut votes: VP Biden did not take any QUESTIONS from said reporters
— Michelle Malkin (@michellemalkin) July 24, 2012
The reporters did kind of, sort of tweet about it afterward.
VP Biden also charged Republicans believes tax cuts for rich will "trickle down" but "we've seen that movie before & we know how it ends"
— Ed Henry (@edhenryTV) July 24, 2012
Also on Biden call WH pushed back on diffs w/ Sen Dems on fiscal cliff by saying the bigger differences were btw Dems + GOP in Congress
— Ali Weinberg (@AliABCNews) July 24, 2012
Yawn!
There was more snark from Twitter users (and some reporters) than there was substance to Joe’s remarks.
Hey, we'll tweet the jokes @ here. MT @DRUDGE_REPORT: WH CRACKS DOWN ON REPORTERS' TWEETING BIDEN'S REMARKS. http://t.co/oXrxhdvg
— Lrry Keho (@lrrykeho) July 24, 2012
@markknoller Obama gags Biden, all questions fielded by progressive aids.
— Here's Johnny (@I_am_John_Galt_) July 24, 2012
It is hard to diagram Joe Biden's sentences when he is speaking even a little extemporaneously.
— Reid J. Epstein (@reidepstein) July 24, 2012
@markknoller Why didn't VP Biden's press conference allow questions from the press? #justablogger @michellemalkin wonders, and so do I.
— Becca Lower (@BeccaJLower) July 24, 2012
.@markknoller WH did not want Biden to have to respond to a Biden-gaffe meme while call was underway.
— Brandt (@UrbanAchievr) July 24, 2012
nothing to tweet about Biden because press was not allowed to tweet about Biden's remarks on the war on the middle-class

Indeed! However, the lapdog media will suck it up and take it. It’s not like it was Mitt Romney’s staff mistakenly forgetting about the rope line or anything. That is unacceptable!
Embargoes? Totally fine.
Trust him.
