Great argument! Actor Chris Evans: ‘I genuinely dislike Ben Shapiro’

Chris Evans is the actor who played the role of the Human Torch in “Fantastic Four” and Captain America in “Captain America: The First Avenger” and “The Avengers.”

He’s also quite the debater.

It looks like he caught Breitbart News editor-at-large Ben Shapiro on Thursday night’s edition of “Piers Morgan Live.” Musket Morgan ripped into Shapiro over his contention that coming out doesn’t make gay NBA player Jason Collins a hero. Shapiro asked Morgan, “Why do you hate Americans so much that you think this is such a homophobic country, that when Jason Collins comes out it is the biggest deal in the history of humanity?”

Evans’ take?

Well, then case closed!

Was it the cogent arguments? OR are you just being all leftie and tolerant? RT .@chrisevans I genuinely dislike .@benshapiro

@chrisevans @benshapiro So you dislike people you disagree with? You do realize this lessens you as a person, don’t you? I’m disappointed.

@chrisevans @benshapiro is actually a really great person in real life. You should meet him and then decide.

Shapiro replied with class, grace and … wait for it … tolerance.

I don’t dislike @chrisevans. We can disagree on politics, agree that The Fantastic Four is a terrible movie, and still like each other.

What say you, Chris Evans?
