Ron Fournier: Time for CDC to reconsider protocols — and talking points

He’s not the only one wondering about that.
Would be an admission of failure re CDC's hubristic insistence any US hospital can treat #Ebola with their guidelines. @elizcohencnn

It's clear the #Obama Admin & #CDC are misleading the American people. How else can a nurse following #Ebola protocol catch it? #Airborne

While we’re reconsidering Ebola policy…

CDC, for its part, says there was a breach in its protocol in Dallas:

From the linked article:
A top federal health official [Dr. Thomas Frieden] says the Ebola diagnosis in a health care worker who treated Thomas Eric Duncan at a Texas hospital shows there was a clear breach of safety protocol.
Is Frieden saying that the transmission of the virus to a heath care worker proves there was a breach of protocol rather than a problem with the protocol itself? If so, that is interesting logic indeed.
Update:
Fournier isn’t done:
.@rosierifka Did he make it clear how it was breached? Or is he just saying "clearly."

@fbonacci @greavespg @batboy1784 @morningmoneyben Is that how it was contracted? If so, how prevent it from happening again and again?

He also took this swipe at conservatives:
Liberals: Expressing concern about #Ebola isn't panic. Conservatives: Sticking to science isn't irresponsible or unpatriotic #NoPolitcs

@wrongkitty Neither. It's just a job
