Earlier this month, State Sen. Evie Hudak told rape survivor Amanda Collins that a gun wouldn’t have helped her because “the stats were not in [her] favor.” Evidently, she wasn’t through spouting nonsense. When her Republican colleague, Sen. Owen Hill, expressed an interest in, you know, reading an education funding bill that is coupled with a billion-dollar tax increase before casting his vote, Hudak responded like so:
Colo. legislator says he can’t vote on legislation he hasn’t read. Colleague suggests he flip a coin. youtu.be/Gb8-xCBWkDo

Reading and thinking are hard. Maybe we should all save ourselves the energy and resort to flipping coins.
Hey @senhudak, should I run this red light? It could result in a huge disaster but I’ll let the coin decide. #coinflipdecisions

Should I buy that house or not? Not sure I can afford it, but what the hell, I’ll flip a coin. #CoinFlipDecisions #COleg
