It was a game lit on fire. Kentucky took the lead right off the tip, playing like they came for a win. They out-hustled, out-shot, and out-played Iowa State and ended the first half ahead by 11 points.

Last time Kentucky lost after leading by double digits at half was Dec. 15, 2007 to UAB at Freedom Hall. Up 40-28, Cats lost 79-76.

We entered the second half and Kentucky let their guard down. Iowa State rested during the half and came back out as a team ready to play. And they did – for a few minutes, and then Kentucky decided to step their game back up. With just under ten minutes in the game, Kentucky led by 20 points against Iowa State, 72-52. As Kentucky managed to keep a distance from Iowa State, the reaction from Twitter showed their support.

Iowa State hasn't even been bad… Kentucky is just that good.

By the end of the game, it was almost a crime to watch how badly Kentucky beat Iowa State.
