When One Cow Was Killed In An Accident, Something Truly Heartbreaking Happened

It’s known that elephants will mourn the loss of a friend or family member. It’s a clear indicator of their high emotional intelligence, and should not be taken lightly when considering how incredible these creatures are. They even try to bury the dead and shed tears while mourning.

But elephants aren’t the only animals capable of feeling these deep emotions. Dogs, cats…and cows are 100% prone to feeling pain when tragedy strikes another being they care about.

When a car hit a cow in Hong Kong, something truly heart-wrenching unfolded.

The entire herd refused to leave their fatally injured friend, even with with cars honking and people walking past.

They tried everything in their power to get her up, nuzzling her and totally disregarding the angry travelers trying to get past.

Their efforts, however, were tragically fruitless, and the cow died there in the street.
