Tomorrow, President Obama will announce that 300 companies have agreed to a plan that the White House claims will boost hiring of the long-term unemployed, which is a problem Democrats have promised America was going to be alleviated by any number of previous jobs initiatives.

“Because they’ve been unemployed … so long, folks are looking at that gap in the resume and they’re weeding them out before these folks even get a chance for an interview,” said Obama.
