In some areas of the country, the #FightFor15 movement, which has the support of the White House, has managed to convince local governments to dramatically increase the minimum wage. What effect does that have on hiring?
That kind of cause and effect might have something to do with why labor unions in Los Angeles want to be exempted from the very minimum wage laws they support.
