Oh, dear. White House senior adviser David Plouffe is making the rounds on almost all of the Sunday shows. He frantically tries to spin Obama’s ‘Occupy Open Borders’ plan, leaks and economic plans (or lack thereof.)
On @MeetThePress WH Adv. David Plouffe denies politics behind Obama's immigration decision. "Wasn't about politics"

Alas, no one is buying what Plouffe is trying to sell.
Plouffe unable to offer any new ideas for fixing economy on SOTU & FNS. Maybe he will come up with some for MTP. Stay tuned.

— Ben White (@morningmoneyben) June 17, 2012
Oh, our aching sides! Everyone with even just half a brain knows this was purely political: It was a power grab and an attempted vote grab, plain and simple.
David Plouffe tells @davidgregory Obama immigration announcement. "not political". Just hand him the Best Supporting Actor Oscar now.
— Ana Navarro (@ananavarro) June 17, 2012
Some are also wondering why Plouffe?
I've read his book, but when I see him in interviews, it's hard to see how David Plouffe is a political mastermind.
— Ellen Carmichael (@ellencarmichael) June 17, 2012
Ploufe? Is Axelrod in timeout?
— Rory Cooper (@rorycooper) June 17, 2012
Watching Chris Wallace interview David Plouffe is painful. Never seen such defensive body language from Plouffe. #tcot #rs #looksguilty
— Bill Pascoe (@wpascoe) June 17, 2012
Did David Plouffe draw the short straw or something? This Fox interview is a train wreck wrapped in a disaster
— Liz Mannebach (@Liz_Mannebach) June 17, 2012
Don't think this guy talking to Chris Wallace will be allowed to talk to him again.Daivid Ploufe is his name. He ever has a Nixon sweaty lip
— WallyWolfpacker (@wallywolfpacker) June 17, 2012
Bless his heart.
Hard to see how this Fox News Sunday interview could have gone any worse for David Plouffe/ White House/ Obama HQ.
— Ellen Carmichael (@ellencarmichael) June 17, 2012
Nice try, Team Obama. But, a total fail once again.
