Global warming protesters: Bad at economics, good at puppet-making

Liberals gathered this weekend in Washington DC and elsewhere to protest global warming and the Keystone XL Pipeline project. The protesters do not have firm grasp on economics, national security, or science, but you’ve got to admit they know how to make really cool puppets and costumes:

Fortunately, it looks like crowd control will not be needed at this New Mexico gathering:

Why wasn’t CNN covering the protests? Rep. Steve Stockman (R-Texas) has the scoop:

.@cnn would have covered today’s anti-global warming rally, but their insurance doesn’t cover asteroid strikes. #junkscience

Meanwhile, conservatives are imploring Washington to open the door for the Keystone XL Pipeline. This would create jobs and make us more energy independent, which are two things the environmentalists do not want.

ON THE CLOCK: It’s been 1,612 days since the #KeystoneXL app was filed. #ForwardOnKeystone for #MiddleClass #jobs
