Things tend to get real when people head into the water with cameras in hand, but what happened when this woman did it is on another level.

Viviana Guzman was paddle boarding one day, and she was hoping to see some whales breaching. Fortunately for her, that’s exactly what happened. The unfortunate part, however, is just how close the first whale came to knocking her right off of her board.

She certainly got way more than she bargained for that day, but I guess seeing a whale this close is better than not seeing one at all.
