I grew up in Maine, which meant that I pretty much never had to deal with stifling hot temperatures. When I moved to New York City, I suddenly understood what “too hot” was.

I learned that when it came to getting out of the heat in a concrete jungle, there are few places to escape other than air-conditioned apartments and too-crowded rooftop pools.

When these baby bears wanted a respite from the sweltering temps in Pasadena, California, I imagine they felt the same way. Their solution? Well, it’s too adorable — you have to see it to truly enjoy it…

I wish I had a personal pool like these guys. Maybe I’ll just purchase an oversized garden fountain and recreate this adorable scene.
