Dash appeared on “Piers Morgan Tonight” to defend her choice, referring to Martin Luther King, Jr.’s famous quote. Pretty CRA….

— DK Uzoukwu (@DKuzLA) October 10, 2012

@SamuelLJackson why is she crazy? I mean, doesn't she have a right to voice her choice based on what's best for her?

— Chino (@sugashayne3) October 10, 2012

@SamuelLJackson No, she just has a different opinion than you do. Have some dignity, for chrissakes

— Serah Okechukwu (@SerahOke) October 10, 2012

@SamuelLJackson Cra? No. Entitled to her own opinion like you & every other US Citizen? Yes. @REALStaceyDash

— Kim Celenza (@ABrunetteBlonde) October 10, 2012

@SamuelLJackson Don't add fuel to the fire, you're a public figure. Respect her right to vote for who she wants.

— JC (@MegaMagick) October 10, 2012

@SamuelLJackson she is voicing her own opinion. Last time I checked….that doesn't make someone crazy.

@SamuelLJackson how dare she think on her own!? Crazy!!

— therealkmp (@Therealkmp) October 10, 2012

@SamuelLJackson @RealStacyDash did with class and dignity unlike your Obama endorsement that converted me to Romney. Keep talking.

— chump (@echump) October 10, 2012

Barack Obama was quick to call Sandra Fluke after she had been called a “slut,” but the president apparently couldn’t find his ObamaPhone to console Dash after the actress was hit with a torrent of abusive tweets. Paul Ryan made the time to contact Dash, though, and thank her for her support.

Had a great conversation with @REALStaceyDash this afternoon. Thank you for your support!

— Paul Ryan (@PRyan) October 10, 2012

Update: Dash wishes Ryan good luck in his debate with Vice President Joe Biden later this week:

@PaulRyanVP thank you for your call today, I wish you Godspeed on Thursday.
