After getting her boys a little puppy named Theo, Jessica Shyba decided to crate train him. As a result, at night the poor puppy would cry his eyes out. Jessica finally gave into his pleas and let him out… and what happened next was the most adorable thing to ever be recorded via Instagram.
Theo and Beau bonded almost instantly when Jessica let the puppy out of his crate to sleep.
When little Theo saw his toddler best friend go down for a nap, he jumped up on his bed and snuggled up next to him.
The bond is so sweet and unusual. The duo have synced sleep schedules, spending hours of nap time together.
Theo will wait for his best friend to fall asleep, and then he will cuddle up to him to shut his eyes as well.
Now, every day Theo the puppy waits for nap time with his best buddy.
Cuddling up with a nap buddy is so much better than sleeping alone.
“Each day, Theo meets us at nap time and waits patiently for beau to fall asleep. By that time, he’s also sleepy, so when I hoist him onto our bed, he stumbles over Beau and plops right down on top of him. And there they sleep, entwined, for at least two hours,” Jessica said.
Lesson learned: when you have babies and puppies in the same house, let them do everything together. The results will be amazing.
