The Donald Trump — Jeb Bush Twitter war heated up again tonight over comments Trump made in an interview with Bloomberg Televison’s Stephanie Ruhle earlier this morning where Trump questioned George W. Bush’s competence as president.
Here’s the relevant excerpt of Trump’s interview from theDaily Mail:
OK, I think I have a bigger heart than all of them, he said. I think Im much more competent than all of them.
When you talk about George Bush I mean, say what you want, the World Trade Center came down during his time.
Ruhle jumped in, saying, Hold on! You cant blame George Bush for that.
He was president, okay? Trump responded. Blame him or dont blame him, but he was president. The World Trade Center came down during his reign.
Jeb Bush fired back, calling Trump “pathetic” over the criticismand added that Bush 43 “kept us safe”:
