Bill Maher’s debate postmortem: Obama like Michael Jackson on tranquilizers

Million-dollar Obama donor Bill Maher wasn’t thrilled last night to see his candidate on stage and in desperate need of a teleprompter. With a day to think about it, though, Maher’s decided Obama’s performance was even worse that than, comparing the president to Michael Jackson on the surgical anesthetic that many linked to the singer’s death. Ouch.
Maher’s not the first to suggest the president looked like a man under the influence. The New York Times’ Charles Blow declared in his debate wrap-up that “President Xanax just doesn’t cut it.” While we’re at it, did anyone happen to see the “choom wagon” parked on the University of Denver campus?
What’s that about drugs being for people who can’t handle reality? Here’s a harsh dose.
