We’ve seen plenty of takes on President Trump’s alleged reference to “shithole countries” — poor Anderson Cooper was almost in tears — but there’s something about this take from The Washington Post’s Paul Farhi that really captures the “Won’t someone think of the children!” vibe.
One bit of collateral damage from the president’s choice of adjectives today: “Shithole” will be all over America’s schoolyards tomorrow. A close personal spouse of mine will be on the frontlines, fighting the brush fires.
