Under the precedent set by Al Franken YESTERDAY, his ‘intended to be funny’ groping of @LeeannTweeden ‘wasn’t a joke’
As we told you, at yesterday’s 5th Circuit confirmation hearing for Justice Don Willett of Texas, Al Franken was one of the sanctimonious senators criticizing Willett for his past jokes on Twitter.
Well, under the exact same rules Franken set down just yesterday, his “intended be funny” groping of Leeann Tweeden “wasn’t a joke” at all:
“It was clearly intended to be funny but wasn’t.” <– this is almost exactly what Willett said to Franken yesterday during his confirmation hearing, of an A-ROD joke. Franken's response? "Sometimes when you don’t get a joke, it’s because it wasn’t a joke.” https://t.co/KjRqO1LW23

Freaking hypocrite:
Al Franken claims sexually assaulting a woman was intended to be funny, yet can’t find any humor in Don Willett’s tweet abt “marrying bacon”

This Franken thing would have been way less schadenfreutastic if he hadn't been acting morally superior over Don Willett's dad jokes literally yesterday.

The picture takes this story out of he-said-she-said territory. Franken's obviously joking around, but still in deplorable taste. And this drops just a day after he badgered Don Willett for telling fairly mild jokes on Twitter. https://t.co/tQMRWES0PI
