Threatened sequestration cuts to TSA not so threatening

The White House and Congressional Democrats have been ramping up their sequester scare campaign this week with the help of their media counterparts. ABC News today rolled out a list of “57 Terrible Consequences of the Sequester,” but it almost certainly didn’t have the impact of the Washington Post’s revelation that the sequester will apparently make a seal cry.

Number 2 on ABC’s list is the threat of longer lines at airport security checkpoints due to staff reductions at the TSA, which has some thinking there’s some real money to be saved by cutting the TSA altogether.

Funny how WH talks of poor service by TSA b/c of sequester.Has anyone every accused them of having good service?

I have the solution to the #sequester… Return the TSA to clinton era funding levels.

Why not sequester the TSA agents instead of folks in useful sectors of the government?

Sequester the hell out of the TSA, America’s most shameful agency theatln.tc/YF9VZg

How do we get rid of TSA? Maybe some smart Congressman could find a way to include it in the Sequester!! fb.me/1XUOIr9aO

I just came up w/ a great idea for avoiding the screening delays the TSA warns are coming w/ the sequester: Scrap the TSA! Saves even more $

Just saw a news segment complaining that the sequester could kill 50,000 TSA jobs… I don’t see any harm there #tlot #tsa

The sequester cuts to government jobs may be a blessing, honestly, do we need so many #TSA agents

Wait – “Sequester” cuts mean cuts to TSA? I”m now TOTALLY 100% FOR letting those cuts happen. TSA is security theater and less liberty.

RE #Sequester – What an opportunity to review value of the TSA. Perhaps restore 4th amendment rights to lawful citizens #securitytheater
