President Obama’s flip-flop on gay marriage is fodder for mockage

President Obama evolved into a flip-flopper as he was shamed by Joe Biden into coming out today in favor of gay marriage. Kinda sorta. Likely enough so that he can line his campaign coffers with sweet, sweet donations.

Haha! That’s rich.

Twitter immediately weighed in; how could it not? Obama’s absurd “evolution” is prime meat for mockage.

Democrats, your 2012 presidential candidates is a very silly person.

Before the gay community thinks they have a huge victory: Obama is perfectly OK with what happened in NC yesterday.
— Brandon Kiser (@Kiser) May 9, 2012
Let's see… first Obama co-opted all of Bush's policies in War on Terror, now he co-opts Dick Cheney's position on gay marriage. Progress!
— GayPatriot™ (@GayPatriot) May 9, 2012
So President Obama was for gay marriage before he was against it before he was for it. Got it.

Dear progressives: with public financing of campaigns, you could not have used the power of political donations to move the President on SSM
— Dan McLaughlin (@baseballcrank) May 9, 2012
Obama supports gay marriage but thinks it's a state issue. That's why he asserted unconstitutional power to nullify the law that says so.
— John Hayward (@Doc_0) May 9, 2012
Glad Obama says what he means AFTER it matters.
— Tabitha Hale (@TabithaHale) May 9, 2012
So, to sum up, states rights for gay marriage, but not voting or immigration. Got it.

I guess losing 40% of the Dem vote in WV to a felon really scared Obama.

Which gutsy call took less time and fewer polls– Obama admitting his real position on SSM or giving the order to hit OBL?

Maybe tomorrow, Obama can change his position on spending the country into bankruptcy.
