Did Hillary really take the fall on Libya? Passes buck back, Obama punts
http://twitter.com/#!/JohnEkdahl/status/258031007884775424
Hmm. As Twitchy reported last night, media outlets were running with the news that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton threw herself under the Obama bus for #BenghaziGate. But did she really?
Let’s be real. Hillary has never taken the blame for anything. And she’s not doing so now. #HillaryAlsoTookTheBlameFor
— benshapiro (@benshapiro) October 16, 2012
“We did everything we could to keep our people safe, which is my primary responsibility.” <– That sound like someone thats taking the fall?
— John Ekdahl, Jr. (@JohnEkdahl) October 16, 2012
When someone says they “did everything they could”, they are not taking responsibility, they are blaming the circumstances of the situation.
— John Ekdahl, Jr. (@JohnEkdahl) October 16, 2012
@bdomenech I’m just not seeing it. She blamed security professionals in one clip and said “she did everything she could” in another.
— John Ekdahl, Jr. (@JohnEkdahl) October 16, 2012
@bdomenech The words “I take responsibly” were there, but I’m not seeing her admit it had anything to do with her.
— John Ekdahl, Jr. (@JohnEkdahl) October 16, 2012
@buzzfeedandrew She blamed security professionals immediately after saying she runs State.
— John Ekdahl, Jr. (@JohnEkdahl) October 16, 2012
So in one clip, Hillary says “She takes responsibility for running State”, then immediately blames security professionals.
— John Ekdahl, Jr. (@JohnEkdahl) October 16, 2012
In the other she says “I did everything I could” before saying it’s her responsibility.
— John Ekdahl, Jr. (@JohnEkdahl) October 16, 2012
Ace of Spades has his suspicions as well. In fact, this all seems to be worse for President Obama. Don’t put anything at all past Hillary Clinton.
So Hillary says she’s responsible, not Obama, but also, she’s not responsible.
— KingPimpPaulRyan (@AceofSpadesHQ) October 16, 2012
So the only thing she says really is “Don’t blame Obama”
— KingPimpPaulRyan (@AceofSpadesHQ) October 16, 2012
Gee, I had no idea that it would turn out that a low-level expendable political appointee would wind up taking the blame!!
— KingPimpPaulRyan (@AceofSpadesHQ) October 16, 2012
Okay, looks like we have two hoaxes: Jake Gyllenhaal’s endorsement, and Hillary Clinton’s alleged responsibility-taking.
— KingPimpPaulRyan (@AceofSpadesHQ) October 16, 2012
So, Ms. Clinton: Who are these people who made the decision? I’d like to hear their version. I’d also like documentary evidence for it all.
— KingPimpPaulRyan (@AceofSpadesHQ) October 16, 2012
Is the President not involved in the security of the United States and its embassies? He never heard ONE WORD about Benghazi security?
— KingPimpPaulRyan (@AceofSpadesHQ) October 16, 2012
Why?Is he too busy fundraising and playing golf?
— KingPimpPaulRyan (@AceofSpadesHQ) October 16, 2012
so now that Hillary is/is not responsible for security, I guess that means her claim that Obama was never told is unimpeachable.
— KingPimpPaulRyan (@AceofSpadesHQ) October 16, 2012
Kind of funny, but a month and a half ago Obama was telling me how tuned-in he was to Libya, how on top of it he was. How he freed a nation.
— KingPimpPaulRyan (@AceofSpadesHQ) October 16, 2012
Now it’s a country he doesn’t even have a passing familliarity with.
— KingPimpPaulRyan (@AceofSpadesHQ) October 16, 2012
@johnekdahl of course she is.Obama demanded she use the words “I take respsonsibility,” but she didn’t want to. S
— KingPimpPaulRyan (@AceofSpadesHQ) October 16, 2012
@aceofspadeshq I think the mere fact Obama was”not told”is just another part of bigger lie Obama doesnt take daily briefing. His job to know.
— Kathy Little (@KathyLittle18) October 16, 2012
At this point, Hillary is acting more presidential than Obama. He just looks weak, pathetically, dismally weak. #EmptyChair
— St Obama of Assisi (@Saint_Obama) October 16, 2012
Indeed.
Dear Obama, In a terrorist town in which the consulate has been repeatedly attacked, you should take more precautions than “none at all.”
— KingPimpPaulRyan (@AceofSpadesHQ) October 16, 2012
Monica Crowley was rather prescient.
Obama/Biden throwing Hillary down the stairs re Libya.Believe me: Rodham WILL NOT go down without a fight.Expect full-blown civil war.
— Monica Crowley (@MonicaCrowley) October 12, 2012
Exactly. Hillary is actually passing the buck back to President Obama.

Hillary Clinton: Ask Susan Rice where she got her talking points on Libya attack washingtonexaminer.com/hillary-clinto…
— Charlie Spiering (@charliespiering) October 16, 2012
More from The Examiner:
“Who briefed Ambassador Rice that day? Did you sign off on that briefing and those speaking points?” asked Brennan.
“You would have to ask her,” Clinton replied, admitting that she did not speak to Rice before her media appearances.
“Everybody had the same information,” Clinton insisted. “I mean, I’m – I have to say I know there’s been a lot of attention paid to who said what when, but I think what happened is more important. We were attacked, and four brave Americans were killed.”
Huh. That doesn’t seem very throw self under the bus-y. In fact, it seems like “Ask the President. You know, the commander in chief.”
And, Obama? He totally punts.
Pool report: Reporter: “Is Hillary to blame for Benghazi?” Obama: Silence. Kept walking.
— jennifer bendery (@jbendery) October 16, 2012
Obama reportedly walked away without saying a word when a pool reporter asked if Hillary is responsible for Benghazi.

*Crickets*
I’m starting to think Hill & O are both blaming intel, which is a little dangerous.
— John Ekdahl, Jr. (@JohnEkdahl) October 16, 2012
Yes, it is. Will Obama continue to punt? Of course he will; all he knows how to do is finger-point, even when extremely dangerous to do so. It’s all about him, baby!
