We’re sure Roll Call’s Meredith Shiner is just asking out of curiosity if Oklahoma Sen. Tom Coburn, who voted against the pork-stuffed Sandy relief bill, would demand that federal disaster aid sent to Oklahoma be offset by spending cuts elsewhere. Admit it: that was your first thought when you saw those images of utter devastation in Moore, Okla., right? Believe it or not, it was for quite a few, but they can relax.

Coburn wins points from the Left for being consistent on demanding that the relief money actually come from somewhere other than a printing press, but loses them for being concerned about money at such a delicate time.
