Confirmed: House to vote on holding Holder in contempt on Thursday

As Twitchy reported yesterday, Representative Darrell Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, made the Sunday show rounds. During the rounds, he predicted that the House would vote this week on holding Attorney General Holder in contempt of Congress. Last week, the House Oversight Committee found Holder in contempt. The committee’s vote had proceeded even after President Obama shamelessly invoked executive privilege over the release of subpoenaed documents relating to the deadly Fast and Furious gunrunning operation.

It appears that Representative Issa’s prediction was correct.

Contempt resolution vote in the House against AG Eric Holder WILL be Thursday. Busy day!

Busy day, indeed.

Issa also predicted that the full House would vote to hold him in contempt in a bipartisan vote. Looks like we’ll find out on Thursday if that prediction also comes true.
