Yesterday, Vice President Joe Biden came out and said he’s comfortable with marriage for teh gheys. Unlike those of President Obama, Joe Biden’s views don’t need to do any more “evolving.” And as it turns out, Biden has “Will and Grace” to thank for that.
Vice President Joe Biden says the sitcom “Will & Grace” played an important role in changing perceptions about gay rights. During an appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” in which Biden made headlines for saying he was “absolutely comfortable” with same-sex marriage, he also said, “I think ‘Will and Grace’ probably did more to educate the American public than almost anything anybody’s ever done so far.”
So all this makes us wonder … what else has Uncle Joe learned from sitcoms? Thankfully, Twitter’s all over it.
